Data from research firm Beiging Antaike Information Development Co showed that there are two undergoing stainless steel projects will soon bring another 5 million tonnes of crude stainless steel over the next few years. It is also expected that Chinese stainless capacity will reach 20 million tonnes by the end of 2015 by those projects.Project from Baosteel Desheng Nickel will bring about 3 million tonnes of capacity while project from Jiuquan Iron & Steel will come with 2 million tonnes. Both are on early stage of construction.China's stainless output is expected to raise more than 19 million tonnes as demand will also rise to 16 million tonnes by the end of 2015.
